VOCATION
Ever since I was a young kid, I’ve always been fascinated with money and finance, unlike my brother who’s into robotics and engineering. To most people, reading about business and finance might seem boring, but for me it brings immense joy that can cheer me up whenever I’m feeling down.
I hear from friends, family, and mentors that I am good at business and figuring out analytical problems and puzzles. In three questions, this quote states my passion for growing in business by stating, “Look for the task that will continue to stretch you. That’s all important in discerning that vital vocation in one’s life. Are you continuing to grow” (Himes 2). With business, I am always challenged to learn more and get out of my comfort zone. I listen and take notes of successful businessmen I can follow. I would inspire other people to learn about investing, saving, budgeting, and being smart with their finances.
I envision myself years from now, mentoring people who are passionate about creating generational wealth. In this world, I notice many businessmen don’t consider the needs of others, but when I get older, I plan to change that by becoming an influential philanthropist this world needs.
